HEy everyone I was just curious to know when or at what water temperature lakers tend to go back to the depths?

As surface temperatures reach 55 and greater. The thermocline will start forming and getting deeper as surface temperatures get warmer.

Lakers are always near the bottom at 50-100 feet but there are also the suspended fish that stay just below that 55 degee thermocline.

Mid summer the 55 degree thermocline is about 60-65 FOW in Joe and thats where I tend to fish.
If your wire lining,try to stick around the 80 foot shoals mid summer.

Thanks a lot!! I was on Vernon today and surface temps reached 55 already
