 what works? im just wondering what works best on vernon for lakers? I here all these great stories about them and fished the lake many years now i just cant figure them out. thanks in advance kyle

Re: what works? I am a junkie to catch fish on lure...but what works best in my opinion is dropshotting a smelt on a good drop off near river mouths this time of year. As far as lures go go with something similar in profile and color to smelt (white tubes, spoons, rapalas) good luck.
Was out on Mary lake last week and caught a 18lber on a Mepps aglia, and on sunday I caught a 9 on Vernon with a Blue Fox Strobe spoon.
