Post Boat launch
:? Hello all you fisher people
I have fished Lake Joe twice in the winter and parked at Gordon Bay marine. Are there any Government boat launches in the area and if so where are they located, My Son and I are thinking of going there for a Fathers Day lake trout fish. Any help would be apprieciated.
Thanks mikdor

There is a public launch towards Port Carling, off 118 on I believe Appian way (someone correct me if I'm wrong). It's right by Port Sandfeild.

Sudzy is correct. Okay launch, it is right across the bay from Port Sandfield. Parking along side of road is good. Don't park in circle area near launch incase a contractor has a load of material to unload.... or your truck may be dragged out of way. There is a road sign for Appian Way off of #118. Best way is north on #169, turn right at #118 and launch is a few KM away.

Foote's Bay is also a government launch but parking could be a problem.
